A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION
Educating
& Supporting
Speech Generating Device (SGD) users and their families.
About Us
Unmuted Grace is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created to provide family centric education, recreation and support services to aid people who have difficulty using their natural speech and use AAC assistive technology, specifically Speech Generating devices (SGDs).

These devices provide an electronic voice for individuals unable to speak.
Augmentative and Alternative communication (AAC) is a specific type of assistive technology that can benefit people of all ages by promoting independence, expanding communication and increasing social interactions.
AAC allows users to explore communication beyond basic wants and needs. Having robust language availability enables users the means to exercise choice and control to express more personality and therefore more fully engage and participate in their day to day lives.

Our organization is devoted to building a supportive network and community around AAC device users - working closely with families through high touch educational/recreational programs and services to help them realize the benefits of using Speech Generating Devices.

Effective AAC use has the potential to give people access to a multitude of new relationships, friendships, vocational and educational opportunities that might otherwise be unavailable.

Our family centric approach is designed to Empower Speech Potential!
